Surawaki Environmental Sdn. Bhd. Incorporated in May 2008 under the Companies Act 1965. Comprised of energetic and resourceful minds, Surawaki Environmental provides independent opinion in the areas of sustainable development by continuously developing capacity and sound judgment in gearing the nation to face global challenges .

It is our role to identify the needs to protect, enhance and renew the natural resources from the biasness of today’s business environment  towards economic performance and the economic thinking. They ignore the fact that ‘nature’ is the most fundamental environment of all human and consequently all organizational activities.

AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Covers both EIA study and post monitoring of specified projects as prescribed activities required by Section 34A Of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 and its Regulation.

Environmental Management Plan

Subsequent study following the approved EIA studies which emphasized the actual conditions concerning the mitigation and abatement of environmental impacts from developments do not surpass the regulating environmental parameter levels.

Monitoring and Site Sampling

• Water Quality Study

• Monitoring program and study that includes proposed sampling points, period & frequency of monitoring, water quality parameter and treatment solutions to be employed on waste water or sewerage treatment facilities. 

• Ambient Air Quality Study
• Through monitoring, air quality samples are collected to determine attainment of ambient air quality standard, prevention or alteration of air pollution emergencies, to observe pollution trends and evaluate the effects  of urban and landuse relating to air pollution and gas emission. 

• Noise Level & Vibration Study

• Noise and vibration measurement program can be instituted to obtain methods of controls and effective measures in accordance with appropriate standard

• Isokinetic Stack Sampling
• Emission test for dust concentration for dust collector system by using Isokinetic stack sampling technique according to US EPA method 2 & 5 as per DOE requirements

• Social Impact Assessment

• Benthic Survey Study

• A comprehensive study that requires research on conditions of aquatic life and characteristics of its components that leads to alternative environmental solutions
